New Balance & Grey! Still a better love story than Twilight. Yes we’re talking about the New Balance Grey Day which is back again this year! Sneakerheads, this one’s definitely for you.

The brand has always kept innovation and functionality in mind with the “Grey Day” sneakers and has started claiming grey as their own colour (Grey is Bae).

With 2022 marking another year of this iconic collection, let’s take a look at where it all started from (Started From The Bottom vibes)

Throwback 

Something that started off in the 80’s as an experiment became a massive part of New Balance’s sneaker heritage

Combining a performance sneaker & a trail shoe resulted in your “go-to” for any occasion. The iconic design quickly became a favourite, maintaining its standard grey

The brand has been associated with different collaborations such as the coveted Steve Jobs 992s, Aime Leon Dore and Joe Freshgoods, which shows that no one quite does it like New Balance. 

Although grey doesn’t seem like a colour for celebration, New Balance certainly has proved that wrong & made it as their own. Over the years, many colours have come & gone but grey is one that has always remained constant with the brand.

The upcoming Grey Day 2022 pack introduces 3 iconic sneakers, the 327, 57/40, and XC-72 which is a true testament to their versatility, highlighted in their campaign slogan “Worn By Anyone”

This year’s collection is versatile as it offers more shades of grey for unique styles, balancing both sports & lifestyle. They have kept the “N” intact & grey as customary.

The NB Grey Day 2022 checks all boxes for meeting its green leaf standards. Each shoe in the collection carries responsibly sourced leather made of recycled materials that originate from renewable wood. All three models are manufactured with more than 50% recycled or organic materials

Safe to say, that New Balance has not forgotten its roots and has stuck to the classics, yet combining it with a touch of modern fashion.
