The Old Skool is the OG in the sneaker world. One day, the Vans co-founder Paul Van Doren was doodling away and inspired by his sketch, he gave birth to the iconic VANS side stripe. The Old Skool was the first VANS silhouette to feature the now iconic leather side stripe along the outer panels of the shoe and has now become a hallmark design characteristic.
